Never underestimate how much small things can bring joy to our lives. 

This oven mitt-and-potholder set, for example.

They are sewn from beautiful blue linen. Then we embroidered them with a happy bloom of wildflowers. 

We embroider with a group of women based in Batangas, who learned the craft from their mothers and grandmothers.

The oven mitt is 12 inches high, and 6 inches at its widest point.

The potholder is 6.5 x 6.5 inches.

Both have 3 layers: linen, cotton, and polyfill sandwiched between them.
